Jones was recently recognized by Mississippi Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in Mississippi for 2017. With more than 500 employees, Jones is an award recipient in the mega-large category. The awards luncheon was held on Thursday, June 22 in Jackson, MS. Best Places to Work winners are determined exclusively on the basis of their employees’ responses to a survey conducted by Southern Research Group. Questions asked in the survey gauge employee satisfaction and engagement. Qualifying companies are grouped by size and ranked to determine the most employee-friendly workplaces in the state.
Jonathan Jones, CEO of Jones said, “I am excited for all Jones employees as we were chosen as a Best Places to Work in Mississippi. Having very few patented products with simple commoditized services, our people are all we have. Our customers come to us because of our people. Candidates want to work at Jones because of our people. As a team, we will continue to make Jones a great place to work!”
Cher Harvey, an employee of Jones, states, “Being One of Jones is not just a cute catch phrase, it is my reality. The respect and love shared between Jones employees on a daily basis is unlike any place I have worked before. I am extremely proud to be part of Jones and take great pride that I am One of Jones.”
