In October 2023, Jones Capital had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive fireside chat with Raymond James experts, in the heart of St. Petersburg, FL last week. Attendees included senior leadership from across our portfolio.
Raymond James, a seasoned veteran in the financial realm, provided executives with financial insights, strategies, and wisdom garnered from years of experience. We also heard from the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership and a local commercial development guru on economic development in the vibrant city. The Downtown Partnership provided insights into the regional business landscape and the vital role economic development has played in the growth of St. Pete.

Past experiences include in 2021, attendees gained industry insight from a newly acquired Jones portfolio company, Rockport Terminals. The trip was hosted in Rockport, TX, just outside Corpus Christi. Attendees were able to tour the Rockport Terminals facilities as well as get to know other executives through fishing excursions and other social outings.
In 2022, Jones Capital orchestrated the annual G30 event in Oxford, MS, offering attendees an exclusive peek into the University's athletic facilities. Participants engaged in discussions with university professors and leaders, gaining a unique understanding of the strategic planning and teamwork it takes to run a successful university. A highlight of the event was a special dining experience curated by renowned chef Vish Bhatt of City Grocery, a recipient of the prestigious James Beard award.
