This event was a component of Leadership Pinebelt's economic development tour, offering participants a firsthand look at one of the region's most significant ongoing construction projects.  The new Jones Mississippi office is a $50 million facility aimed at contributing to the area's economic growth. Currently, 90-100 workers are involved daily in various aspects of the construction process.   Upon completion, the office will boast 80,000 square feet of cutting-edge workspace. On day one, it will welcome 230 employees, with the capacity to accommodate up to 400 as our operations expand.   The construction project has generated over 200 jobs across the [Jones Portfolio](https://jones.com/companies), with more expected as work progresses. This increase in employment opportunities aligns with efforts to support economic development in the region.  The new facility will serve as the base for eight Jones Capital portfolio companies, centralizing our operations and fostering synergy among our diverse business units. This consolidation will not only enhance operational efficiency but also create a dynamic environment for collaboration and innovation.  As we are nearing the completion of this project, we at Jones Capital are excited about the positive impact it will have on our employees, our portfolio companies, and the broader community.
