Columbia, MS, January 31, 2018 – Jones Logistics would like to welcome Guy Byars as the new vice president of our brokerage division, Jones Transport. Guy’s position will focus on making the supply chain operations of all of the diverse Jones Companies more efficient and more profitable, ensuring that its incredible growth continues to be supported by its highly capable team.
Guy brings over 15 years of experience to Jones Transport, including serving as VP of North American Sales at CAT. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from Baylor University and Kansas State.
“The culture brought me to Jones. Plain and simple,” said Guy when asked what was his reasoning for becoming One of Jones. He is also most excited about working with the management team. Guy believes that Jones has really great people who he can learn extensively from.
Guy moved to Mississippi from Mansfield, TX. He and his wife have been married for almost 12 years and they have three sons together.
