Jones Radio Networks®, Inc. (JRN), America's leading independent radio programming company, is pleased to announce that talk host Ed Schultz and Country music radio personality Lia, will be featured speakers during the 2008 Conclave Learning Conference in Minneapolis, June 26th - 29th. This year's theme, At the Crossroads, will focus on the changing face of radio with multiple learning tracks.

The Conclave College, part of the Life Skills Learning Track, will feature Schultz as a keynote speaker. Schultz will be offering his perspective on the importance radio plays in the political arena. "We are honored to have Ed recognized by the Conclave. It's appropriate and a perfect fit as Ed has been a pioneer in the Progressive format, and the Conclave has been a pioneer in presenting ideas that really keeps those in the radio industry educated and informed," says Amy Bolton, Vice President of Talk Programming for Jones Radio Networks. The seminar is scheduled for Friday, June 27th at 1:30pm.

The Conclave Country Format Symposium, part of the Formatics Learning Track, entitled The Secret of My Success will be moderated by Lia, the 2007 CMA National Personality of the Year.
The session will feature the stories of four women (Susan Stephens, JRN; Tonya Campos, KKGO-Los Angeles; Karen Dalessandro, WMIL-Milwaukee and Michelle Novak, Saga Communications), who have achieved success in Country radio and seek to answer the question; can you climb the ladder, stumble along the way and achieve the job of your dreams?

Susan Stephens, Vice President/General Manager for JRN Seattle says, "Lia has the wit and wisdom to keep this panel of successful women sharing their stories and knowledge of radio, programming and country music." The symposium is scheduled for 9:00am on Saturday, June 28th.
