Jones e-education: the Software Standard® (JESS®) is an affordable, turnkey learning management system with all the features and functionality needed for the successful operation of an academic or commercial online learning program of any size. Its application service provider solution provides for hosting on Jones' servers and, combined with 24/7 technical support, eliminates any customer IT burden. JESS is based on 20 years of experience in distributed and online education and is regularly updated to meet the changing needs of program administrators, instructors and students.

College Connection® is the link between JIU and its affiliations with:

  • corporations worldwide to provide high quality, convenient training to the global workforce worldwide
  • community colleges to provide articulation and transfer agreements for their graduates
  • certain governmental agencies to provide high quality, convenient education to its civilian and military members

Knowledge Store®, Inc.  served as a universal access point to JIU's online libraries and professional development tools. Our online marketplace delivered an expansive collection of content including multicultural training, business skills seminar series and technical certifications.

Jones Internet Channel®, Inc. (JIC) managed online technology and services for the Jones companies.  In 1996, with former affiliate Jones Intercable, Inc., JIC was the first in the cable television industry to commercially offer Internet access over cable television systems in Virginia.  Through custom designed web interfaces, JIC provided localized content as well as broad Internet services.

Jones Media Group®, Ltd. (JMG) was the parent company of Jones Media Networks™, Ltd., and owned and operated a leading independent radio network business. JMG syndicated radio programming and served approximately 5,900 radio stations throughout the U.S. and reached about 1.6 billion weekly listener gross impressions based on data provided by Arbitron and RADAR. JMG's radio station customers were in all of the 150 largest markets and included stations owned by the largest broadcasting groups in the country. JMG also sold national radio and aggregated content and delivery platforms distributed via the Internet and mobile device users, primarily for cell phones.

Jones Radio Networks®, Inc. (JRN) was a leading independent provider of high-quality programming to radio stations nationwide with studios in Denver, Seattle, New York and Nashville. JRN offered radio stations a wide selection of 24-hour satellite delivered music formats, syndicated programming and services.

Jones MediaAmerica®, Inc. (JMA) was the largest independent network radio advertising sales representative firm with office in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit and Denver.

In June 2008, JMG and its subsidiaries, including JRN and JMA, were sold to Triton Media Group.
